Checkout improvements, filter conditions for workflows, and more

After a big run of releases, we focused on quality of life improvements this month — less splashy, but highly critical improvements to the platform. (Don’t worry: next month, we’ll be announcing our biggest release of the year so far.)

Let’s take a look.

Checkout improvements

Our goal is to build the most beautiful, customizable, and high-converting checkout experience in Circle.

This month, we made several improvements to bring us closer:

  • A cleaner, more structured price list that clearly shows trial pricing, upfront fees, or both
  • A redesigned preview that displays both original and discounted prices when a coupon is applied
  • A simplified coupon field that auto-recognizes codes
  • A new order summary modal that is consolidated and optimized for desktop and mobile
  • For events, a better layout for cover images on the checkout page

This sets the stage for what’s next: fully branded checkout, flexible layouts, and more tools to help you convert more members.

Filter conditions for workflows

Thanks to popular demand, you can now add filter conditions to workflow triggers and actions so automations only run when specific conditions are met.

It works just like Segments and Audience Filters, but now built directly into triggers and actions in workflows.

A few examples:

  • DM only members tagged “VIP”
  • Add someone to a space based on location
  • Send a welcome email to members with the “Newcomer” role
  • Tag members who join through a specific referral source

Coming soon, we’ll turn these filter conditions into visual branches within your workflows. This will make it easier to design and see in a glance how your audience will move through workflows.

Access group control in custom app builder pages

Back in April, we launchedthe Custom App Builder, giving Circle Plus Custom customers full control over the design and functionality of their branded apps.

This month, we’re extending that control over who sees what: you can show or hide screens linked in your navigation with access groups based on roles, tags, or membership levels. Great for VIP-only spaces, or onboarding new members.

Your app should feel personal. This makes it possible.

AI Agents are now available on our mobile apps

AI Agents are now available across our iOS, Android, and branded mobile apps — not just the web. Your members can start conversations, ask questions, and get support right inside your branded app!

Circle Desktop App is now generally available

Last month, we introduced the Circle Desktop App in public beta. The response was clear: this is something many communities had been waiting for.

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve fixed bugs, shipped improvements, and completed testing. The app is now generally available to all communities.

We’re also working on a fully branded desktop experience for Circle Plus Custom customers, and making the download link more discoverable for members.

Other Updates

  • Add notes to flagged comments: When rejecting a comment, you can now include a note to add more context on why the comment was rejected. Submitted notes can be viewed on the Details tab and CSV export.
  • “Near me” filter for member spaces: We’ve expanded the “Near me” filter to member spaces. Members can now search and connect with local peers, making it even easier to form meaningful connections.
  • Smoother member and contact imports: Uploading members or contacts now works the same way, whether you're using a CSV or Excel file. We’ll automatically check your data to catch issues before they cause problems. For member imports, you can now also add tags and custom profile fields during the upload.
  • Simpler paywall setup: The paywall creation modal has been redesigned to be more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier to set up paywalls quickly and confidently.

iOS improvements

We also shipped a few improvements to Circle’s iOS app:

  • Support for AI Agents
  • Improvements on course lesson progression
  • Geo-location for members
  • Support for downloadable attachments
  • Unread chat message notification updates
  • Performance, reliability, and UI/UX improvements

Android improvements

Plus, here are some improvements on Circle’s Android and Circle Plus branded apps:

  • Support for AI Agents
  • Support for custom blocks on custom app builder
  • Attachment layout improvements
  • Performance, reliability, and UI/UX improvements
