Anything you can do with the Circle API is now something you can do with your LLM.
Get started in three easy steps. Learn more →
Step 1: Add Circle as a connector in your LLM

20,000+ creators and businesses around the world trust Circle with their communities.
Anything you can do as an admin in Circle, you can now do through your LLM. Invite members, create spaces, post content, manage access groups, run events, query engagement data, and more. If it's available in Circle's Admin API, it's available through Circle MCP.
Circle MCP is available on Business plans and above. Only admins can connect and authorize it.
Yes. Because Circle MCP follows the open MCP standard, it works in the same LLM session as any other connected tool. You can pull contacts from your CRM, check if they're Circle members, and invite them, all in a single prompt.
Your LLM will ask for approval before using any tool unless you've configured it otherwise. In Claude, you can set permissions per category in your connector settings. We recommend setting read-only tools to "Always allow" so your LLM can look things up without interrupting you, and keeping write and delete tools on "Needs approval" so nothing changes in your community without you explicitly saying yes.
Circle MCP has full admin-level access to your community, which is what makes it powerful. With write and delete actions set to "Needs approval," nothing changes without your confirmation. You can also go more granular with custom permissions inside your LLM to block or allow individual tools.
Yes. Circle MCP runs on Circle's Admin API, so each request counts toward your API rate limits. You can view your current usage and limits in the developer section of your community settings.
In Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Connectors, then add a custom connector and paste the Circle MCP URL: https://app.circle.so/api/mcp. Select the community you want to connect and authorize. For Claude Code or other terminal-based tools, run: claude mcp add circle-mcp --transport streamable-http https://app.circle.so/api/mcp
