Happy New Year!

We’re starting 2026 by shipping two of our most requested features.

Upsells

Growing your revenue doesn’t always have to mean acquiring new customers.

Upsells let you earn more from customers who are already in the process of buying. When the right offer shows up at the right time, your revenue per member will naturally increase without adding friction or slowing down the checkout process.

You can start with a low-friction entry offer like a one-time course, then offer a membership option at checkout. It’s a natural next step for customers who are ready to buy, and one of the easiest ways to increase average order value.

Rollout begins tomorrow, and will be complete by mid-February.

Upsell example

Available on release

  • Upsell add-ons let you offer complementary products or access immediately after purchase with the ability to add multiple prices to help price-sensitive customers fit the purchase within their budget. Upgrade and tier-based upsells are coming soon.
  • A prebuilt upsell page that automatically includes all the content you’ve already set up for your paywall, enabling you to implement your upsell idea in minutes.
  • A redesigned thank you page gives members a clear summary of what they purchased and what they now have access to.
  • Automatically apply coupons to provide discounts only available through the upsell flow to encourage conversion.

These features will give you immediate visibility and control over how post-purchase offers perform and the ability to respond automatically without manual work.

Coming mid-February

  • Expansion revenue analytics to show how your upsells are performing, including views, conversions, and overall conversion rate.
  • Workflow triggers to let you automate what happens when an upsell is accepted, declined, or checkout is completed.
  • Customizable upsell pages to let you edit and preview pages so you can refine messaging, layout, and media before publishing.
  • Upgrade functionality to enable upgrade-based upsells that move members into higher-value plans or longer billing intervals.

Upsells are a foundational piece of a larger monetization system we’re building this year, focused on helping you earn more from the value you already create.

  • Recently edited items make it easy to pick up where you left off across settings and content.
  • Discover listing integration lets you preview how your community appears in Discover and approve your listing.
  • CSM contact visibility for Plus and Enterprise gives you a clear path to support, making it easy to connect with your Customer Success Manager when you need help or guidance.

Other updates

Email Hub improvements:

  • Video blocks in visual builder: You can now add videos to emails using the visual email builder. Drag a video block onto the canvas, paste a video link, and it’ll automatically generate a clickable thumbnail that takes recipients to the video page to watch.
  • Audio blocks in visual builder: Emails now support audio blocks that display a thumbnail and play button for audio links from platforms like Spotify and Soundcloud. Clicking the play button opens the audio on the host platform.
  • CSV export for emails: Export recipient data for email broadcasts directly from the broadcast analytics page. Lists with up to 2,000 recipients download instantly, while larger exports are sent via email.
  • Variable default values: Emails support default values for personalization variables, ensuring placeholders are filled even when member data is missing. Defaults can be added directly in the variable syntax and are applied automatically at send.

Other improvements:

  • New workflow triggers and actions for paywalls: Workflows now support a new subscription trigger and three new actions to help automate paywall management.
    • Trigger: Subscription changed
      • When a member’s subscription plan or billing cycle changes.
    • Actions:
      • Add coupon to subscription: Apply a selected coupon to a member’s first active subscription.
      • Remove coupon from subscription: Remove a coupon from a subscription
      • Change subscription: Update a member’s subscription to another subscription within the same subscription group
  • Resend invitations in Manage Members: You can resend member invitations using filters, making it easier to follow up with specific groups of invited members.
  • Improved sorting in the Live Stream dashboard: We’ve made it easier to find and organize your live stream recordings. Events are now grouped into two tabs, All events and Past events, with sorting available by clicking column headers. You can also filter by name, type, status, date, and recording availability.
  • Restricted chat access for flagged members: Members flagged due to their activity will no longer be able to send messages in chats. This applies to chat spaces, course comments, live stream chats, and DMs, with the exception of DMs to admins. This experience now matches how flagged members are handled in posts and comments.
  • Block direct messages: Members can block DMs from specific users without affecting group chats or chat spaces. Blocking can be managed from profiles, chats, or via the privacy tab in account settings. Admins can’t be blocked.
  • Redesigned billing page: We’ve rolled out a refreshed billing page. The experience includes simpler views for past bills, detailed usage and add-on breakdowns, upgrade and add-on prompts when you’re near or over limits, and an overall look that matches the rest of the app.
  • Google fonts support in Website Builder: You can now choose from thousands of Google fonts for your webpages. Fonts can be applied at both the block level for more control and at the theme level to set defaults across all pages and sites.
  • AI-generated moderation reasoning: You can now enable AI-generated explanations for reported posts and comments, providing context-specific reasoning instead of relying on manual inputs.
  • Media Manager and storage settings: Admins now have more control over how members interact with media, including options to allow media uploads and voice recordings in posts, comments, chat spaces, and DMs.
