This month, we’re excited to roll out a slate of popularly requested features, available free today to all our customers!

Let's get into it.

AI website builder

You can now describe any page you want — a new homepage, sales page for a new offer, or an event page — and work with Circle AI to automatically build it with you using your existing brand aesthetic.

Website examples

Here’s how it works:

Just ask Circle AI to build a specific type of page you’re looking for. It will ask you a few quick questions about the page you’re building, and show you a live preview before anything is published.

Every change can be undone through Builder's version history, and you can make your own edits before publishing.

This means you can now:

  • Generate a full page from a single prompt, or build it section by section: heroes, pricing tables, testimonials, FAQs, images
  • Recreate a page from a URL, a screenshot, or an uploaded design as a starting point
  • Rewrite, shorten, expand, or adjust the tone of existing copy without starting over
  • Generate images for a page
  • Run accessibility, SEO, and broken-link audits on any page

Small caveat: pages built from legacy templates aren't supported yet. Circle AI will flag this, and suggest starting fresh instead.

Available free today to all our customers.

Live reactions

Expanding emoji reactions across Circle is something we've heard from you for a long time, and today marks the first phase of getting there.

Live chat reactions 🎉👏🚀
Chat messages in live rooms and streams now get the full emoji picker instead of a fixed set of 7, with up to 10 reactions per message per person. Skin tones and custom emoji aren't supported for chat reactions yet, which we plan on adding soon.

Live room reactions ♥️👍🎉
We’re also adding floating reactions to live rooms to make your events lively and unforgettable.

During a live room, up to nine emoji float across the screen for every participant to see, three of which support skin-tone variants. Defaults are on or off per community for now, there's no per-room toggle yet, and mobile support is coming soon.

This is the first phase of bringing full emoji reactions to every part of Circle. Emoji reactions to posts, comments, DMs, and chat spaces are up next.

Available free today to all our customers.

Get Started checklist

We’ve added the ability for you to onboard your members with a native “Get Started” checklist.

To set up your checklist, go to the Onboarding tab in Settings.

This page has been redesigned to help you manage your member onboarding experience across three stages:

  • Before joining (invitation emails)
  • Joining (sign-up forms, welcome message, onboarding access)
  • After joining (welcome experience, the get started checklist, and workflows)

You can customize your Get Started checklist in the “After joining” section.

Members will see a persistent checklist panel that opens automatically on first sign-in, with items like completing a profile, downloading the mobile app, or visiting a key space, plus any custom items you add. On mobile, the same checklist is available as a small floating button members can tap to open or collapse anytime, and once every task is complete, it disappears.

The checklist stays accessible throughout the platform, with CTAs linking out to each task, and is fully customizable.

Here’s a fun fact: we analyzed hundreds of communities that offer a checklist today inside a welcome post or course space space. Members returned roughly 5x more often, and retention was 2 to 3x higher in the first 90 days for members who completed it.

Available free today on web for all our customers. Branded app rollout starts this week, with everyone live by the end of next week. Support for Circle's iOS app is coming by August 31st.

Please note: This update will only be visible to customers who’ve opted in to Circle Eclipse. Activating Eclipse is free, easy, and takes seconds. Simply click on the Preview button in the Eclipse banner at the top of your community, preview your community, and click Activate when you’re ready.

Customize member directory filters

Admins can now choose which filters show by default in the member directory or member spaces.

For example, you can choose to show or hide default filters like filtering by tag or location, show or hide your own custom filters with profile fields, or set a custom sort order for your member spaces.

Other updates

  • Restore and reconnect removed access with access groups. Restored and removed access is now fully visible across profiles, activity, and spaces, including a reconnect action to restore access to removed spaces, even when tied to a paywall purchase.
  • New subscription dashboard filters for paywalls. Filter by completed installment status, billing interval, and scheduled-to-cancel status. All three are CSV-exportable and queryable through Circle AI.
  • Public RSVP now supports recurring events. Guests can RSVP to multiple occurrences in one submission.
  • Cleaner variable tags in the broadcast email editor. Variable tags now show as labeled chips instead of raw syntax, with a quick popup to add fallback text.
  • Resend invitation action in workflows. A new action and template lets you resend invitations to members who haven't completed their profile, with a new "invited at" filter to target by invite date.
  • Remove non-member contacts action in workflows. A new action clears stale non-member contacts from your list, useful for regular list cleaning.
  • New history filters in workflows. Workflow history now includes non-member contacts under the "Person" filter, plus a new "Run at" filter for recent activity.
  • New “voted on a poll” trigger in workflows. A new trigger fires when a member votes in a poll, scoped to any poll, a specific poll, a space, or a space group, so you can follow up based on how someone voted.
  • Transcript viewer is now searchable and timestamp-synced. Search the full transcript, then click any cue to jump straight to that point in playback.

  • Members can now invite attendees directly while creating or editing events
  • Event hosts can manage attendee status
