1.

We kicked off the year as a team of 124!

In 2024, we set out to redesign the core product, expand the all-in-one platform, and elevate the developer experience.

We started the year off with public events, giving admins the ability to generate shareable links to their private events.

We released the ability to offer paid trials –making it easy for prospects to explore your community before committing.

4.

We shipped new moderation settings to help admins moderate their communities, and chat notification preferences.

March

5.

We rehauled analytics with new dashboards for revenue, events, and device usage, along with the ability to filter those dashboards.

6.

We added language support for Portuguese, allowing Brazilian and Portuguese communities to offer a native language experience.

7.

We released a major update to our Knowledge Base, launching an AI-powered bot for instant support.

8.

We brought our team together for our first offsite of the year in Bodrum, Turkey — a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many with great food, scenery, and vibes.

April

9.

We rolled out topics enabling admins to categorize content within spaces for better navigation.

10.

We redesigned the mobile header for quick access to Feed, Spaces, and Members.

11.

We launched Concierge Payment Migrations, allowing communities to centralize their payments within Circle.

May

12.

We released paid events, letting admins monetize events with ticket pricing, RSVPs, and recurring events. 

13.

We added activity logs for Circle Plus communities, providing a full history of actions for better security and insights.

14.

We improved search filters and sorting to make finding content easier with options to sort by date, popularity, and author. 

June

15.

We added quizzes to courses, allowing members to test their knowledge and stay engaged.

16.

We introduced workflow delays, letting communities space out their workflow actions.

17.

We made the checkout experience smoother with digital wallet support for Apple Pay and Google Pay.

July

18.

In one of our biggest launches of the year, we announced Circle 3.0.

With Circle 3.0, we redesigned our core experience to make it even easier for your members to engage with your community.

We also introduced gamification — a new way to reward your members with points, levels, and leaderboards.

August

19.

We rehauled our Developer Platform with three new APIs, and introduced Circle Headless, letting you offer an integrated experience with your own app or website.

20.

After adding almost 50 new team members, we gathered together in Dublin, Ireland for our second offsite of the year! 🍻

September

21.

Our biggest launch of the year:

Marketing Hub!

With Marketing Hub, you can run your email marketing, newsletters, and manage your contacts database — right within Circle.

It’s a game-changer for keeping your audience engaged, no matter where they are.

October

22.

We added in-app purchases for branded mobile apps, allowing members to make purchases directly in the iOS or Android app.

23.

We launched Live Q&A, making it easier to host Q&A sessions in live events.

24.

We released automatic calendar updates, now syncing event changes seamlessly into members’ calendars.

November

25.

We introduced segments, giving admins the ability to create dynamic audience lists based on attributes like tags, profile fields, activity, and location.

26.

We redesigned workflows and introduced a visual workflow builder, elevating the experience of creating and managing workflows.

December

27.

We capped off the year with access groups, making it simpler to manage complex access permissions for groups and cohorts.
