Start by previewing 3.0 for your own admin account.
While still in preview mode, head over to Settings -> Code Snippets. Take a look to ensure everything is working as expected, and if not, make necessary changes to your code snippets. Note that any code changes you make while in preview mode will only apply to the new design and not your current one.
Click here to activate Circle 3.0 for all your members. And voilà! You’re done.
Unfortunately, Circle’s new gamification features will only be offered on Circle 3.0.
Note that the gamification features and the leaderboard is an optional component of 3.0 — even if you choose to enable it, you don’t have to turn on gamification unless you want to, and you can turn it off at any time.
Thankfully not! Your color and code customizations should continue to work even once you enable Circle 3.0.
With that said, we recommend ensuring that the new layout doesn’t affect your CSS and JavaScript code snippets by previewing as an admin first. If it does, you can make adjustments to your code snippets before you turn on 3.0 for all your members.
Once you activate Circle 3.0, you will be able to revert back to 2.0 until November 30, 2024 by reaching out to support. After this date, Circle 3.0 will be automatically enabled for all communities.
