Common questions about courses

Create a new space (just like you normally would for post, chat, and event spaces) and select the “courses” space type. You can also create a new course by clicking the “courses” tab and following the on-page instructions.

Courses are available on our Professional and Enterprise plans at current pricing ($99/month and above). In order to use courses, you’ll also need to be on Circle 2.0.

Courses are available on web, iOS, and Android so that your students can engage with your content and community anytime, anywhere.

You can currently upload your content right into the Circle platform or choose from platforms like:

  • Wistia
  • Vimeo
  • YouTube
  • Typeform
  • Twitter
  • Spotify
  • SimpleCast
  • VideoAsk
  • Loom
  • Brightcove
  • Panopto

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to control whether content hosted outside of Circle is downloadable or not. It’s best to have a look at your provider’s permissions to find out what they allow.

You can now add up to 15 additional file resources, including PDFs, images, or videos, to enrich and complement your course content. Simply visit the lesson editor, toggle over to “files”, and upload your assets.

Yes, PDFs and downloadables contribute towards your plan’s overall file storage limits. If you’re unsure how you’re tracking towards your limits, contact support@circle.so.
